Last week my fraternity aranged for most of us to go to the Yankee Game. It was a Friday night game against the Tampa Bay Rays and I decided to make the game a little bit more interesting. I bet an undisclosed amount on the Yankees to win by more then one run. I have been an addictive gambler for the past year all stemming back to last years NCAA tournament where I won a large sum of money and basically gave me the confidence that I can not lose. Well the money I won from the tournament has gone and so has my luck. I am basically admitting to you that as much as I love sports I can not get excited unless my money is riding on the game. As we watched the game the Yankees of course broke my heart again and I lost my wager. I did realize though that even after I new the Yankees had no chance of winning (which was in the 4th inning) I enjoyed myself so this may be the turning point I needed to maybe give up gambling for a while.
